Sure, in the beginning you can do that just to really commit and figure out how to save money but after awhile you don't need to do this anymore. When you're figuring out how to save money fast you will probably come across complicated spreadsheet systems of people that keep binders in order to track every penny and I really don't think this is necessary at all. If you have a life and you have other things to worry about then I don't think the ROI (return on investment) of your TIME is worth the little extra money you might save tracking every cent. Instead I think you should focus on the BIG areas where you can save money and the first way to do this is to track where your money is going using an app like mint.com The art of money saving can be painful but the feeling you get when you save money and increase your net worth is great. I'm also a big fan of minimalism and money saving is a huge part of that as well. There are many different ways to save money but in this video I will go over the most effective ones in my experience.
