Instead of starting by thinking of the degree, what you should do instead is think of your goal or ideal outcome, and then reverse engineer your way back to find the degree that can act as a vehicle to get you to your goal. You can then make a solid plan to get there ---------- This is basically the opposite of what most people do. Most people just go purely for their passion, not looking out for their future self and having no plans or goals. It's easy to be afraid of the future, so why think about the future when you can just go for your passion and ignore responsibilities blindly hoping that there will be a bright career ahead of you when in reality there may be no demand whatsoever. Again, I feel like I have to continue repeating this but I'm NOT saying that you should ignore your passion. That is definitely an important part of your decision, but to blindly go for your passion without considering other things is a very bad idea. Make sure to always look out for future you.
