The answer is going to be different for everyone on a personal level, but talking from a personal finance perspective, many of them are. When you talk about STEM vs Liberal Arts there's no question that STEM wins in most cases when it comes to your financial return on investment and job prospects. I've talked a lot about the most useless degrees, but in this video I'll be going over liberal arts degrees that can be worth going (on average) about $40,000 in student loan debt. Sadly because of the high cost of college, you have to treat it like an investment and not spend four years of your life and go deep in debt unless it's for a degree that you know will have a good chance of paying off.
