Most people do this the wrong way. They get a bachelors degree thinking they will be able to get a job, find out the bachelors degree is overrated and they have no job prospects, then take the only option that they have which is to go back to school and spend even more money. Many times masters degrees aren't worth it either and then they might end up going back to school again and getting their doctorate. The universities and student loan servicing companies benefit financially from this, most students don't.
